The conference brought together perspectives from media theory, aesthetics, philosophy, sociology, art, and chemistry to examine the relations between sensory perception, environments, and technical sensors. With particular attention to smell and taste, it explored how digital technologies reshape sensory perception and its mediation. My contribution focused on Whitehead’s theory of feeling and sensing and the question of mediation through organs.
